I am a small business owner who is tired of being stolen from. After 11 years in business, I never knew this until it happened to me.
Have you ever had someone refuse to return your $279,000 drill, truck, meters, or other equipment valued at more than $2,000?????
It’s time to put a stop to this. I am calling for new legislation to make it a criminal offense — a felony — for any contractor or subcontractor who refuses to return or intentionally steals equipment.
Whether you are a small business owner or a large corporation, the principle remains the same: you should work for what you earn, not take what does not belong to you.
