Re: Where’s the work.?

I really like hearing the way you think because it’s exactly how I think. I’m just trying to survive in this world and support my family and friends giving reliable people steady paychecks. I demand quality work and hire people that are legal and professional but my overhead is so high it’s hard to pay people who are very skilled and take pride in their work a fair amount of the money. I’m getting .38 cents a foot for strand including bonds and anchors! Completely ridiculous! Not to mention I’m 4 weeks in the hole and good help is already hard enough to find and nobody can wait 3-4 weeks for a paycheck! I don’t hold back, just hoping to get good people and hope that I don’t have to go back and fix anything.. it’s just a total shitshow and I’m very discouraged by the rates these days. Our job is difficult enough already and the customers don’t know or understand what it takes for us to meet deadlines and build quality lines for peanuts for pay!
