Re: Ready for a Pivot into fiber w/?'s

I suppose I'm looking for some specifics if under ideal circumstance...

-whats a "make ready"? how much should it pay ideally?

Make Ready is adjusting pole attachments to meet NESC.  Price depends on the complexity of the adjustment.

-how much for core aligned splice? are people still charging by splice?

You have to come up with your own price on any service.  Yes most contracts are by the splice.

-are trouble tickets additional or premium?

I would not respond to a trouble ticket without being paid unless it was a result of an error on my part.

-how much for drop hang?

Once again, only you can put a price on  any service you provide.

-how much for premise work w/cpe install?

Once again, only you can put a price on  any service you provide.

-whats "lumen construction standards and practices"; and are they different from NEC, BICSI, and Corning?

Like many companies, Lumen has construction standards & practices.  Ask Lumen for a copy.

-whats "metro E" installs

No idea

-is a "crew" 2, 3, 5, 10... people usually?

A crew is what ever size the task requires.  A drop can be done by a crew of 1 or 2.  Aerial OSP build requires 2 or 3.  Underground OSP May require more than 10 depending on the project.  In addition a crew may include traffic control, usually a minimum of 2 more people.
