I know QR cable had green and red  and green tracer for back feed cable and red was the famous power cord with the special coring tool you had to buy to core it.The center conductor was developed about 1/4" to pass the 90-volts needed to run the good old telephony systems. The power supply max amps was 15 amps so it would not hurt you just improve your sex life a little lol.......
