Ditto TSBCCC above. Find your niche and build an honest small group of whatever your preference of work is. Just for example, I would say coax splicing, as there is a real shortage and the rates are up for that reason. Getting folks who can climb, well that may be a challenge for a while.
Verizon retainage involves when the system is up and running, great if you can handle not having that percentage of monies over time to next project, as the margins are decent I am sure, but takes some time to be able to handle those size retainers.
