I normally have my lawyer draft a letter threatening legal action if payment is not made or reason for nonpayment isn’t received in writing. I also include a copy of a letter my lawyer will send to the MSO as well if we don’t received a response. That normally gets them to at least get in touch with you. Maybe then you can work it out civilly. Check out filing a mechanics lien as well. Each state has different rules for filing one. Try your best to stay out of court. I’ve been stuck in a legal battle for over a year now with a Prime for nonpayment. Lawyers aren’t cheap and Lady Justice moves slow. Especially with this Covid BS. Best of luck. Hope it works out.
