Insurance agents are licensed by state. Each state has its own laws and rules. So it is not that easy to ask who is a good agent. You will have to be more specific as to where you reside and where the work I’d. My agent is licensed in South Dakota as well as a few other states. Best advice I can give: 1.) Look for an agent that specializes in business/construction. A poor choice would be your home and auto agent. 2.) If your agent has to search for your worker’s compensation code for more than couple of minutes, leave and find an agent that knows the codes.
