Done that for a few companies around here. Comcast, AT&T, Cable One. They used to pay to bore from ped to house. Then they got cheap and wanted to pay edge of pavement to edge of pavement. Not worth pulling the drill out of the shop for a 20'-30' shot. Just my 2 cents.
