I built about 1000 miles around and in the loop for Cablevision back in early 80's....it sucked then and I'm sure worst now. At that time I had a national contract with CWA paying union wages until IBEW found out. In a meeting I was told you will switch to IBEW or we'll get you out of here. I filed a complaint with CWA and told them their national contract was not worth a damn, so I went with IBEW. These national contract don't mean crap when your working inside major metro cities, if your out in the hills of WVA you might want make out ok. Better yet....Stay Non Union and just treat your crew rights, the only thing good about CWA is you will get some benefits
