I got no issue with him asking for anothers opinion, thats never a bad idea. He simply didn't give enough details about the overall project so it's too hard to give him an approx. price.
I'm willing to share what is my Minimum if he wants to work for less god bless him. Whats one more at this point, been watching these guys get chewed up and spit out for years now.
Hell at least he wasn't asking how he could get his own contract ( those guys really crack me up ) the simple answer is if you don't know what you need to do to get your own contract then its resonable to assume you shouldn't have one or won't for long.
