BAB IDEA!. Use both rollers. We are proud of our work and stand behind it, so I don’t allow any of my crews to do that. It is not worth the very minor benefit vs being giged for loose lashing wire. Additionally you won’t get away using only 1 roller as you described if you are being inspected on a RUS and/or Bonded job. I know more than one inspector that watches for such things.
