True you can do that however you will end up with a lose lash. If you are only going to use the first guide roller go all the way around it once. They are both meant to be use to apply the proper tension on the wire. I know alot of guys do it that way, however that does not make it right. Do that while lashing an .875 Coax and see what happens.
