Holy Monkey's I just Googled it because I also have never heard of it, and DAMN it does exist....... It is more commonly know as your Cable Box.. Pay the money, get a new drop, every once and awhile the Tech knows what he is talking about. Your signal is probably too weak and your getting alot of noise due to a old drop that is now losing it's ground. Depending on what the Tech did would probably change the fittings those tend to lose thier ground first. I have seen many drops replaced due to bad fittings.
