Couple more things; most consider 5 years to be the minimum experience required, so save your money during this training period for equipment, vehicles and insurance. As a contractor you will go broke fast on $1500/week. As a 1 man contractor, you will need to gross over $200,000 to net a living wage. ie my first year nearly 40 years ago I was lucky enough to break even grossing around $100000. Hope this helps.
