Looking for info 1099

Hello,

I saw an offer from a fiber Optic company(subcontractor) offering training for ffth to be hired as a 1099. I believe payt is based on service rendered (about 135 upgrade a tad more). Depending on how long one stays with a customer it seems you could only do about 3 service a day unless there is a hold up or technical issues. If your lucky sometimes 4.

Company can supply tools and van via rent with insurance.  Non descriptive vehicles to draw attention. Toolsthey but or loan u money to buy or you could buy own. (Splicer,  fusion machine, etc)

My question as a newbie, is it worth it? Does one need to LLC,  need business insurance? How is working as a 1099 ?

This is in the New York area. Thanks.
