There is a spec for installing fiber aerial but no one follows it because:  Fiber is light weight compared to tel-pwr-coax but everyone stills sags in with existing cable-tel-pwr.   No one uses ft lb scales when sucking up strand or the 600 lb break a way on the fiber it's just toss it up, make it look like the rest of contacts on the pole.  I once bid a job when fiber lst came out back in 80's and told the MSO he would have to re build his system if I had to follow the real Fiber Specs;

Coax is no different, sag with those heavy tel co cable, follow pwr sags and etc.  Just put it in the air....Made it look real pretty.
