Re: Transfer work

Look...sometimes we read more into the job than what is required, regarding pole transfers...some can be a walk on the beach, while others are your worst nightmare.  Things you need to know...are the location marked on a print or do you go looking,  are they single contacts or you moving the entire line to other side of road and the fact that you won't hit 20 a day like some say.   $75 for Str,  $140 for DE's -guy wires, $165 for T's-guy wire, $18 pole frame material-Grounds/Bonds/Anchors extra $$-?  If the pole line needs relocate, double your per unit cost.   My guess is they don't know the unit price and want you to do the estimating, then they take your units and put it out to bid.  Follow the advice of the other post on here....know what your getting into first !  Keep safe:Microman
