If most of these companies were true to their share holders they would and should allow jobs to go out for bid.
There would be a lot more competition. Smaller companies don't have the same over head as these big companies and at the end of the day who's really doing the work? The small contractor!
Let's be honest it's the same big companies (Dycom, Mastec, and Quanta) being given not bidding on the work.
It's all about who you know and not what you know!
