Re: Getting paid for the risk

MC:   It has not always been this way...the pay was never over the top, but it was a fair wage back when they paid by hour.  It's the been counters that run this industry today, they cut your wages/unit pricing, then raise the subscribers rates..it's a win win for them, while you are the loser.  The   prime contractors are making the profits, maybe in some cases a small %..but it's a profit after all is paid out.  They take their desired profits off the top and pay what ever is left for you.  The ones hooking the poles are at the bottom of the so called food chain.  Even the utilities pay somewhat on units produced or you have so long to get a unit job done, but it's at least a fair wage method plus benefits/retirement 401/health insurance..good vehicles and equipment.  So like all other have said over the years....if you can cut it at the bottom, down where where you gotta eat shit or a living....then hang it out now, don't waste your time as it won't be changing any time soon.   Just do quality work, keep safe and do what is right for you and most of all your family :  GO/MicroMan
