Several methods work. he bow method, Jameson sling shot works well depending if you are trying to go over or through. a bean bag works well if you can aim or I have also tried using several large glow rods attached with a hook then hook to either the fiber strand or the phone drop (if there is one) with the drop attached at the end and pushing and pulling it through the trees. Just depends on what you are tying to do. All methods should be a part of your tools. Oh, there is a gun you can try but never really had much luck with that for aiming and it doesn't go very far
