- The “private utilities” have been a gray area forever. My favorite thing to hit is the sewer laterals! The home owner doesn’t help much because most don’t know where their shit even runs! Locating helps, but not everything can be toned out. I’m out there boring the hardline replacements or repairs, in the ROW, I feel bad for y’all going into the yards.
