That is crazy price for todays costs. As a cable operator 40 years ago, I was paying contractors $25 per drop.  A pickup costs 10 to 15 times more, wages are 6 to 10 times more, fuel is 4 times as much. Machines are 10 to 15 times more.  And I won't even talk about the out of control insurance costs or the people willing to sue you.
