Add what do you call your tools: Coffin Hoist, Strand Grip, bolt cutters, pole sling, shot gun, 90 bracket, cable block,,,etc, etc, Now power linemen don't give them nicknames like we do. Here is some power linemen tools: Alley arm, baker board, bell wrench, boatswains chair, bookie wheel, broomsticks, buck arms, bugs, butt line, candy grabbers, cattle guards, cherry picker, chicken catcher, dead man, egg sucker, hot arm, kettle, leg irons, meat hook, pigtails, rough neck, sharp shooter, toilet seat, working crab, widow maker, wiggle wire. Lets hear some of your nicknames: Keep Safe..Enjoy life..
of course we all know what a clum some is: A greenhorn lineman..ain't clumb much but has clumb some. Another one is Driffter,,,a lineman that travels, I always called them Tramp Linemen. Then you have Gophers...your grunt ..
