Re: Tracking me as a subcontractor?

I was forced to buy a 2nd phone because the work requires an apple device.

It was my choice, go back to work I didn't like & paid less or invest in more crap I don't want or need,

like buying all new meters because the 8 I already own don't work any more :(

As the equipment & technology changes, we have to change with it.

Of course it sucks, of course they don't cover the expense, of course they don't give a damn.

Just like when I started, all I needed was a .412 & .500 tool to do my taps.

To get better work, I had to buy a .750 tool to do amps, which paid more.

I didn't have to, I could have stayed a tapper for 32 years, but that was a choice I made.

Of course it sucks, but I make a hell of a lot more than in house, so I buy bucket trucks, meters, and 10 different coring tools at my expense.

All that being said, I don't see how they think they have the right to track us.

Give us work, give us the standards required and leave us alone until given a reason to take some kind of action.
