Re: wreck out price

I cant emphsise this enough.  As always spend the time to look at the job!  Ask the right questions!  See what is involved!  Easement, fences, alley, street side, existing drops of of other utilities, main line only or drops, etc.  If the drops are included, what are the answers to: where do you stop at the house, Ground block, house hook, or someother place, do you take a painted drop and leave a line from the previous paint job, etc.  Who pays the traffic control costs?  How many times does the main line cross a state highway, interstate highways?  Who pays for the permits if any?  What is the window of operation?  I was on a job were the work window was only from 9AM to 3PM everyday.

Add up YOUR costs, add YOUR profit margin, then you will have YOUR price!  Not someone who is loosing money at the game.

ps Scrap prices are not good.  More money paying for a dumpster than to haul it to a salvage yard.  So put that in you price too.
