I worked for Burnip and Simms in Austin, TX in 82, running new strand and cable in worst easements I ever been in.. We coudn't have WEWAWS anywhere or you had to rip it out and start over, and then get an ass chewin and a day off without pay. 11.00 an hour... Then went to Glendale, AZ. with them and spliced out of a Chevy Luv truck all UG 1" and .500 armor jacket cable. Cut the hell out of you if you weret't carefull. Those were the days!!!.  Party all night and I had a life!!!  Then got married,, So much for the fun...
