What Gaffs do you like?

I am looking to buy a new set of gaffs.  While shopping around I have found these Gecko gaffs that a lot of the tree climbers have been raving about.  I have been on Bashlins for a very long time and was wondering if any lineman have tried the geckos and what kind of feedback they may have.  Also, they have different gaff lengths, american long, american short and european.  If you have them, what seems to work best?
