The democrats have gerrymandered districts too, and with more democrats voting than Republicans gerrymandering had little to do with it. In states like MD a blue state where dems out number Republicans 2 to 1 they elected a Republican governor by 56% to 42% as the final count yesterday. Then there was Scott Walker in WI another big blue state that has elected a Republican governor 3 times to serve 2 terms. He not only won 2 regular elections but won 1 recall election pushed by the unions, clearly a case of the people saying they like what the man is doing.
So you answer is as weak as your arguments.
If everyone is thinking alike, someone isn't thinking.
