I worked with Steve when he was with Rapid Cable as we supplied a fiber splicing crew doing some splicing and midsheath grounding on existing enclosures back about 13 years ago and then again doing about 500 miles of as build mapping when he was with CoBridge Cable about 3 years ago.
We were paid 100 percent on both projects and had no issues.
As far as CCI goes, we have done about 3,700 miles of as build and around 200 miles of design for them since about year 2000, and got paid 100 percent as well with no issues.
Not sure what else to say except those are my company and personal experiences.
Not to offend anyone, but one of the best lines I have ever been mentioned to me from a mentor, that took me back, for a moment, was " Nice thing about excuses, they are all born equal"....
