Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man how to fish and he eats for a lifetime.

The 2013 version:

Give a man a Welfare check, free cellphone, free internet, cash for his clunker, food stamps, section 8 housing, free contraceptives, Medicade, 99 weeks of unemployment, free medicine, and he'll vote Democrat the rest of his life.....even after he's dead.
