I don't know what the problem is with Fuji's batteries. Your battery is supposed to and is advertised to do 80 cycles. I bought a China 50S awhile back not knowing Fujikura wouldn't service it. I had to pay them $3000 to grandfather it in. The battery that came with it would do over 80 cycles (burns & shrinks). I would charge it every day and after about 2 months of daily use it prompted me to cycle it for the first time. After about 4 years it would not hold much of a charge. I bought a new one from Fujikura and the first time it got low it prompted me to cycle it and every time after that. That battery only lasted 2 years. Every one I know with a 60S has had similar experiences. I guess the moral of the story is to buy your batteries from China.
