I have done Wildblue / Excede. I am first days of "high speed Internet" MMDS.
To answer you're question, it is a SNAP for someone that has satellite & some computer knowledge; experience. NO you do not want to go out and get a inclinometer and level! LOL
A SUPER BUDDY will do you justice if you are willing to spend the cash up front. Find one used if need be! But DO NOT go out and try to do this WITHOUT A SUPER BUDDY or you will be waisting you're time UNLESS you have someone experienced! Then again, the experienced guy/gal should have a METER! LOL
Good money? These days it is diffiecult in Sat., Cable,...every industry. Some are rapping the tech's 100%, some only 50%. Finding a good company to work for is the TRICK!
you do have to be certified! The best way to do this USUALLY is go to work for a local dealer you feel you can trust. Get you're feet wet, get equipped and then head out in to the WILDBLUE YONDER! LOL
