I hear ya about cell killing landline. That's why AT&T is hiring Premise Techs for like $10/hour...it's sickening. And they want to run your ass through a ringer for that, too.
Only difference between POTS & DSL is balance and cut bridge taps and to the field?
I've spliced 25-pair mods, beenies and Amps before...even put in old 1A2 key systems (dates me).
No such thing as PBX's any more? Mostly VOIP - Centrex-Like VOIP.. Unified Messaging.
Anyone know of Contractors hiring PBX or VOIP techs?
