depends on alot of field conditions. ADSS can eliminate most make ready problems. Don't forget when bidding, there is no strand except OHG/PG/DG and the anchor. Price ranges from $.65-$1.28 FFT. Some states require power training or certification. Usually place 12" below secondary. Preform off on the fiber, don't forget the storage loops. Some want you to place a span of strand then hang your storage/splicing loop on the strand.
Strand/lash vs Adss about the same for the contractor however it's the customer that really needs to look at field conditions. Average crew will place about a 20,000ft reel/ 5 day week. Also fiber counts can be 12-24-48..biggest that I've installed was 144- alot of weight here. If rear easement...winch it...more money. The hardware for ADSS is very expensive compared to the 5/8 stuff. Be safe- it can be very dangerous if you don't know what your doing. Good Luck to you. GET R DONE !!
