We currently inject 35dB @ 15 MHz. We pad the mod to achieve 29 dB at the Tx TP. There are at least 1 sometimes 2 pad locations in the Tx housing. We zero those out and put all the padding on the Mod. Unless you use a dental mirror you have to take out the Tx housing to see what it is. Zeroing them eliminates the mystery. Its important to hit the Tx with the correct amount of RF. That will be determined by your upstream channel loading. How many upstream carriers are you typically using? And what modulation scheme your using? We are using 2, 64 QAM, and 1 QPSK channels.
