Re: prevailing wage work

On the other side of it I've worked several prevailing wage jobs and made far more money than I normally would have. Only one was close to home, but being a transient lineman for most of them all of the expences were the same anyway. The one thing I have seem employers do is purposely mis-classify the employees so as to not pay what they should, I was setting temp poles at Humboldt State University in Nor Cal and was classified as an "Inside Wireman" (a freakin' installer) but it still paid more than I usually got.
