I got screwed for about $15,000.00 once.
I got so scared of what I planned to do that I left town.
I sure learned a little about contracting after that.
A couple of months later the guy that screwed me ended up dead. (I had NOTHING to do with that)
One time after that I had a boss up and leave town owing me about $1,000.00.
I found where he lived and took a 500 mile trip and knocked on his door at 7:00 am one Sunday and he answered his door with check in hand.
I think I was still more pissed about the $15,000.00 than the $1,000.00 and was not going to let that happen again.
