The industry was dead a decade ago, long before I retired. One reason I retired. But I want to know a SOURCE. Not this "I read" crap. I read too and as always, since the inception of the bar, people are bitching about work & pay. And all the gloom & doom guys spouted the same thing, 'bad year', 'the ride is over' etc...and every year everyone keeps on keeping on. I know folks actually making money and have been. I know folks that got out before and since I did. Same holds true for EVERY industry.
Times are changing faster than anyone could ever have imagined or prepared for. Blaming "the mexicans"
is a fucking cop out, trying to avoid ones own responsibility. Over 20 years ago contractors were supposed to bw phased out. Like this doom & gloom thread, it was nothing but more doom & gloom.So, I ask again, what is the VALID source that RELIABLY backs up the OP's opening post?
