Why so negative towards satellite? There were many years when I was hearing cable techs bitch about low pay. $13 for a new install making maybe $200 a day. I was getting $150 for a 4 room install and averaging $400 a day. Seems they are both paying in the crapper now.
If nothing else having satellite and cable gives us more work. Customers are always chasing the deal, switching between vendors all the time.
