I know that I will be hammered for this Butt are you using a Beckett and a swivel, anything that is wrapped, coiled or wound has a memory to it.
It don't matter if it is pulled from the top or bottom of a reel,chances are that the batch of reel's are aged and have gone through an annealing process, from setting in a un-controlled enviroment, I had a crap load of QR1125 many, many years ago that looked like a corkscrew comming off the reel's and the fix was a Magic Box preformed to the tounge of the trailer and it looked like pipe after that, that .625 is some tough shit to work with.
