I haven't done TV satellites for a few years now, But I was able to use a diplexer without any problems with a cable modem. The trick was to buy the best. Not a radio shack diplexer or anything that is extremely expensive. The triplexer thingy that every sounds like they are talking about on the back of a dish reciever is the one where they combine the 2 satellite inputs and an analog signal with it. I think your wanting something else. I have not seen nor heard of anything else.
