Many Christians struggle with the issue of tithing. In some churches tithing is over-emphasized. At the same time, many Christians refuse to submit to the biblical exhortations about making offerings to the Lord. Tithing/giving is intended to be a joy and a blessing. Sadly, that is sometimes not the case in the church today.
I agree that it is being exploited by many who represent the Church, I am not trying to bash anyone and won't resort to name calling and degridation for a man's beliefs as is being done daily here, but i have problems myself with this man made religious exploitation that goes on in these times of greed. So many prey on the faith of others to take advantage of them in a monetary way and when it's done by someone who uses God as his sales pitch it leads me to believe there is no shame in this world.
