        I work for a fair size construction/splicing company and from what I've heard from other techs at work they say they only shoot for somewhere around 7%. I don't know if its before or after taxes though. I see paperwork for jobs everyonce and a while and sometimes I'll see a few that are around 23% or so. but yeah, like cablbuck said, 20% if you're lucky, most jobs i've seen are closer to 8 - 13% though. It's hard for me to comment on what they actually see in reality, but that is why probably the biggest thing the company emphasizes on is safety, our company spent over 1 million dollars last year in safety claims and the entire company is only made up of around 1200 people.
