Oh are you ready for this one , my lead tech was training a newbie and was at a house where the sub was just moving in.The lead explained to the newbie how to complete the job without having TV's in the house. He connect all outlets and equipment and used his test tv to run vod and his laptop to activate modem services. He had dispatch note the account that there no tv's in house and tech used his personal laptop to activate services. One week later I get a claim for the top brass that tech damaged tv and all over charged for outlets. He did a reco. with 3 outlets a total of four pieces of equipment on account. One for each outlet? Oh no they credited sub for extra oulets and had us send a repairman out to fix tv. Even with the proper notes the MSO's will throw you under the bus , to make customer issue's just go away. Thanks Comcast for your services.
