Even if you are a homeowner you are a renter. I put forth the eminent domain law. Buy some land that the gov wants and see how much ownership rights you have, You complain about places that you do not live in and not the problem. Many of those places (public housing) are places that I would not want to live in for free myself. The rent is determined by th gov and they pay a prtion of it. So if you are paying 20 a month for rent on a place that has been appraised for 1200 a month, so is it a problem of people being slackers or is someone getting over on the gov. I do not hear any complaints about section 8 in which the homeonwers are responsible for the upkeep of the unit. Besides has your neighborhood redlined which means fed dollars will not flow to these communities due to low voter registration or tax dollars to inprove scholls?
