Re: Is anyone still making good money contracting?

A very rare few indeed.  Some who think they are doing well are not.   Some who are doing well can thank the techs who take the hard calls and leave the gravy for the favorites/relatives.  I'm not begruding someone who has paid their dues, and I know myself well enough to know I'd protect myself, but I can't get over the fact I was making 50k/yr after expenses in 1999, and 11 years later my cable bill is DOUBLE but installers are losing their trucks.
