To add to the mix,
I read the Hughs net spes a few years ago and, as I remember it, it was well planned. However, there was a requirement for conduit for UG runs. Solid copper cable was required. It has been too long to be more specific...but just those to items + 150 mile radius shoots most of your money.
For example: IF you accept work at 150 mi radius you have to come back...or get a room + tolls. IF you use .60 / mi x 300 you get $180.00. This is an overhead cost you are allowed to take for vehicle costs. Then you add your material costs. And you will pay for this with a $100.00 bill?
