Sad thing is though all this talk has led to a scare running through what you all call corporate America. You may have scared some big players so badly that you "Indepedent contractors" will probably be under scrutiny soon. I would bet you use a buddy to fix your car who doesn't have all those insurances etc.? I would venture to say some have yard and household items done with those uninsured or under insured because it is "cheaper". I hope everyone is ready for the thunderstorm of "no more Independent Contractors" that seems to running rampant? Lets see what that does to each persons bottom line when a plumber now costs $135/hour, a mechanic at $95/hour etc. I guess my point is be careful what you wish for you might get it?
