When I made a fitting for the old nike missle Sys you would soldier the center conductor than wrench tight the 2 parts of the fitting with a rubber gasket inside, so the sat guy never heard of flood cable ,whats new. Oh you used a knife on the cable than a nail to work the  copper braid.
