I have no faith in pensions. I am smart enough to invest my own money. I have my own medical insurance, and in my state, I don't have to carry WC on myself. As far as not getting paid, well, I wisely chose to contract for one very solid company. BTW, many businesses, with EMPLOYEES, close their doors and leave a note saying that they've gone bankrupt and nobody gets paid. I also get good tax write-offs at the end of the year.
Oh sure, I have to buy my own fuel and supplies, but after all of my expenses, I am still making more than any union wage employee out there.
Why in the hell would I want to give my hard earned money to some union thugs?
